A 26-year old man is dead as the result of a gang-related shooting according to Tucson Police. 26-year old David Salas was killed at a shopping center in the 900 block of West Irvington around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 2. Police say the shooting took place during an altercation between two groups of people from rival gangs inside a barber shop. The verbal disagreement led to a fistfight outside, followed by an exchange of gunfire that killed Salas. Police are looking for two Hispanic males who were seen driving away in a Lexus or Mercedes sedan with dark tinted windows and a Mexican license plate containing the numbers 948.
