Medina County jury today convicted a member of the Hells Angels on felony charges related to a fight Sept. 3 in Montville Township.
Jurors in Medina County Common Pleas Court found Scott Stage, 46, of Parma guilty of felonious assault in the beating of Steven Keresztesi, a 63-year-old from Cleveland who was seeking to re-establish the Coffin Cheaters, bikers who had been in Northeast Ohio for decades.
The same jury Friday acquitted Justin Seliskar of Medina of three assault charges related to the same beating. But the panel wanted more time to consider the case against Stage.
The verdicts came after a weeklong trial before Judge James Kimbler. Kimbler will sentence Stage on April 28.
