Commancheros leader Mick Hawi will spend at least another three weeks in jail, after a Sydney magistrate rejected his application for bail. The 28 year old is one of six men behind bars, charged with affray over the bikie brawl at Sydney airport that killed Hells Angels associate Anthony Zervas in March. Hawi's barrister, John Korn, has spent two days arguing his client's case in Central Local Court. But the magistrate pointed to the evidence in rejecting the bail application. He said one witness heard Hawi threaten Peter Zervas as he left the airport after the brawl, saying "you've got it coming, I'll get you tomorrow." Peter Zervas was shot a week later, but survived.John Korn told the court his client is being held in protective custody in jail, even though he does not want to be.He also said Hawi has shed 11 kilograms and is isolated in a cell with no sunlight.Hawi will return to court in three weeks.
